We are the Bleus sisters, Bride, Peaceable and Vivi. We live distantly from each other, across the U.S.A., but we share a love of cooking. This blog is a desultory way of sharing recipes, tips and tricks.

The Bride Wants to Know
What is everyone going to do with the trussed chicken, leftover from the soup? If it were summer I'd make a cold chicken salad with a nice garlicky mayonnaise, but it's cold here.
I live in a house with three dogs and two cats so there will be many volunteers to help with this problem. I'll probably eat some for lunches, and the rest will be shared with the friends.
I thought of making a nice chicken salad, but I want to avoid the mayo. Not core.
We are doing Chicken Enchiladas with the breast, and probably Mom's Murgha Curry with the dark meat. I doubt these are core, but they might could be converted. The innards already went to the cats.
Tonight we had smacking good scallops in ginger-orange sauce with two steamed veg, very low fat to combat last night. We were taking advantage of the Texan's evening working at the food-shelter, packing 2 tons of potatoes into single-family bags (she doesn't like fish/seafood, but she is a Better Person than I).
