Sisters, have you looked at the next menu? It's veal again, shank this time, cut into rounds. And the dessert, a scrumptious looking chocolate mousse with hazelnuts and whiskey and chantilly creme, requires a pastry bag. I will have to go buy one and if I happen to see a good looking Charlotte pan, I might buy that as well.
It's all about sauces and thickening with eggs and I believe the recipes call for a total of 14 eggs.

Uuuuuhhhmmmmm....
I had been thinking of asking for a postponement until after the holidays. We will be having a major party on 12/15 and I leave to visit Peaceable, among others, at dawn on 12/17, so 12/16 is a bit tight for me. And I'll be travelling on 12/23.
But if you want to go ahead (is it possibly the meal for a party Peaceable will be having on the momentous day 12/16/07?) I will pull one off for the gipper.
